Study and Reward

Each course is made up of 10 lessons and can be studied over a semester (12 weeks).
Each week, one lesson is studied and the corresponding assignments are made.
At the end of the course, two more weeks are then scheduled to complete and hand in the final assignment.

The study load is structured according to the European credit system, called ECTS.
A full academic year consists of 60 ECTS.
ECTS stands for 'European Credit Transfer System', where 1 ECTS corresponds to 28 study hours.
A course consisting of 5 ECTS therefore provides a study load of 140 hours or an average of 12 hours per class
with about 20 hours for the final assignment.

The course should be completed before the end of the term.
For the first semester (academic year 2019-2020) this is 24 January 2020, for the second semester it is 26 June 2020.
In special cases and after consultation, an extension may possibly be offered.

After all lessons and assignments have been completed and handed in, the student will receive an official certificate for passing the course with the grade after a positive evaluation. This will be sent by post and e-mail.
